Jahtiva

San Diego based reggae band Jahtiva is fronted by the charismatic twenty-two year old powerhouse vocalist Mia Jativa. With an expanding catalog of original tracks and covers, Jahtiva's music is a testament to the enduring power of roots reggae and the importance of keeping its legacy alive for new generations. Jahtiva recently released her second EP that includes current  members of Slightly Stoopid, The Aggrolites, Dubbest, and E.N. Young. The EP was recorded at the infamous 17th Street Studios and was mixed by Grammy award winning engineer Fabian Cooke.  Jahtiva is gaining traction in 2025 with the release of the “Medicine Woman” music video produced by Joser One Cavada who has also produced music videos for Hirie, Tribal Seeds and the Movement. Most recently, Jahtiva was invited to guest with Fortunate Youth and brought the house down with her performance of “Riddim Rydah” on Valentine’s Day 2025.
